Downbeat is fixed at 6 o’clock. The complete pattern spans one bar of the selected time signature.
Morph = 0 gives equal event spacing across that bar; Morph = 1 places the same events on the subdivision grid defined by the pattern.
Event sequencer
The number of sequencer steps always equals the number of pattern events. Pattern timing changes when you morph;
the event values stay attached to their event number.
